This is a slide jam on a closed road! The hill isn't terribly steep so its suitable for all levels! Did they mention its a closed road??
They (TFY) will be bring out THE RAMP for those of you who are up for the challenge!!!
Here are the details:-
Date: 27 May 2012 (Sunday)
Time: 3.30pm onwards
Registration fee: RM10 (includes BBQ and drinks)
Place: Kg Penchala
They would like to express our sincerest apologies for clashing with the Karnival Sukan Extreme: Hari Belia Negara held at Putrajaya Challenge Park. This event is a small get together with prizes coming out of thier own stash just to see everyone in the longboarding scene gather and have a good time. Those who cant go to Putrajaya are welcomed to come to Penchala which is hopefully nearer and easier to access.

Format: Each rider will get 3 runs down, and they will select the run with the highest points when determining the winner. Riders with the highest points will obviously win.

Safety: Gloves and helmet are mandatory!

Schedule: Riders are allowed to practice on the hill from 3pm onwards and the slide comp will start at 4.30pm til 6pm followed by prize giving and BBQ.
Note: for non-participants, you can pay RM5 for the BBQ.
