But she doesn’t care – they can say whatever they want, and she’ll just keep on doing her own thing her own way!

People all over the city are used to seeing the Street Skater rolling up and down stairs, along railings, through fountains and even across the branches of the city park’s trees. He’s such a familiar sight that the streets just wouldn’t be the same without him and his famous skateboard!

SKATEROCK NEW YEAR FEST 2012

Date: Saturday, 31 December 2011 at 11:00 until Sunday, 1 January 2012 at 00:00

Venue: Skatepark Section 13, SHAH ALAM

Started out in 2010 in Shah Alam Skate park whereby 4000 kids come to celebrate New years Eve. The purpose of Skaterock event was to distract the youth attention to partying at the clubs and city street. Whereby thousand of youth will spend their new years eve with Drugs and Alcohol and spend the night on streets. DFYA main objective is to do preventions. By having them all here at the skate park DFYA could monitor and avoid them drinking alcohol and doing drugs at the event. Concerts will be held and bands will be addressing Drug Free message at every centre of their performance. Drug Free message will be deliver everywhere by posters, emcee, bands, signing pledge, Pledge, banner and screening. Kids that come to this show are extremely into hard music and extreme sports. This is DFYA reach out program to talk, listen and meet them face to face. Be part of this reach out program and reach the youth by volunteering. Now DFYA are targeting 5000 youth to celebrate new year eve without drugs and alcohol. Their objective is To fill the youths’ free time with educational and awareness activities, One stop centre activities for the youth, To create young musicians with creative and positive thinking, To create young volunteers to participate in awareness activities & To create individuals with a positive thinking attitude.
