7th Monsoon Mayhem International Surf Challenge

Desaru Beach Johor Malaysia
4th to 6th January 2013

Bigfoot Industries cordially invites you to join their for the 7th Monsoon Mayhem International Surf Challenge, an annual surfing competition held in Desaru Beach, Johor, Malaysia. The competition will be held from 4th to 6th January 2012 and the competitors will be competing for an overall cash prize of over MYR 10000. The 7th Monsoon Mayhem is organized by Bigfoot Industries sanctioned by Asian Surfing Championship. It represents the 3rd stop on the Asian Surfing Championship tour. Last year’s competition drew participants from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,USA.Japan and Australia. In 2012 the participation has already been confirmed from the majority of South East Asian countries and we are looking forward to extend this invitation to you.

Save Malaga Charity Freeride Slide Jam will be helping the longboarders of Singapore do a collective donation to the Malaga family.

Registration is $10 per person and every single cent of the proceeds shall go to the Filipe Malaga fund setup by the South African Gravity Racing Association.

PUTTING THANE ON TARMAC SLIDE CLINIC / SESSION

Now that everyone has gotten a taste of DH, we figured it would be a good idea to hold a slide clinic to get everyone familiar with the basic safety slides that can be done to stop/slow down when going down a hill. The very basic of them being the Coleman slide, and check slide.

So if you feel you still haven't gotten basic slides under your belt then its about time you do! Those of you who feel that you can do them with your eyes closed, well there's always tweaking and perfecting to be done and also other kinds of steezy slides to pull off!

Either way, you'll bound to learn alot when you skate with others, so lets fucking skate!
