TFY: LEARNING CURVE TIME ATTACK
Come one, come all to this race to become King of the Hill!
Go all out to nail your best time on this fun course.
Go back to basics, with one sweeper and two 90* corners, left AND right.
The track is of a dead-ended narrow road, and the spot is right behind a library in Shah Alam, with greenery and shades that makes up for a chill spot. There is also a cafe a (very) short walk away for riders to touch down after a tiring session.
And end the day with a chill freeride session!
Who says library is no fun?
Format: Time Attack

Best time will be chosen between your 2 runs, rider with fastest lap time will be the winner!

LAKE GARDENS OUTLAW DH FEST 2013
The guys from Oceanic Downhill Division, or better known as ODD, are organising an outlaw event at Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur on the 12th of October 2013. A registration fee of RM10 will be charged which will include snacks and drinks! Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Sponsors for the event include Poste 98, WildAntz Boards, Jungleskate LB, and Selaju Boardshop. This will be the first outlaw event organised by ODD so be sure to show some love on the event day!
-DH Competition
Winner advances, loser gets eliminated. The two contestants race on the course that is roughly a kilometer long road that starts off shallow but then transitions to steep. This will be a test on your tuck, your push start and how well you take your racing lines. At the end of the steep part of the hill is then a sharp corner which will be taken at high speed if no method of slowing down is made part way down the course. Taking this corner well can be what decides who crosses the finish line first. Shortly after will be the finish line which declares who moves on.

Sponsors are yet to come over the coming weeks, we’re aiming for good sponsorship to have some worthwhile prizes.
-No skin policy not enforced but suggested

KUALA KUBU BHARU DOWNHILL SKATE FEST 2013
This year's skate fest will feature three competitions, a downhill race, a street luge race and a slide jam, spanned across two days.
KKB Freeride Downhill Skateboard Racing
Racers will be divided into heats of two; a personal race to the bottom of the techy KKB Freeride track a three hairpin and three sweeper track. Slides must be learned. mastered and used to fully survive this track.
Open Division:
Open Class division racers will be timed in qualifying through the track for positions in a two man heat elimination race. Open Division racers will race the full length of the course.
The Open Downhill Skateboarding division has a participant cap of 32
Amateur Division:
This year's Amateur Division has been slightly tweaked for the event, anyone is allowed to enter. Racers of Amateur Division will race a mere 1.13km of the track, covering a less teep and less technical portion of the track. Amateur Divisions will be a random drafting two man heats event.
The Amateur Division Downhill Skateboarding division has a participant cap of 32
Skateboard Freeriding Slide Jam:
The Slide jam will be held on the first day. The slide jam will be done on the steepest 30% gradient part of the road, requiring participants to do as many trick combos as possible on a pre-set distance of road. Participants with the higher points wins; points judged based on difficulty of tricks and cleanliness.
Longest Stand Up comp:
Longest Standie wins. Simple as that.

TFY Skate's Rimba Alam Downhill Jam 2013 is already more than a week ago but the stoke still lingers for the Poste98 team. It was the very first event that Poste98 had to cover outside the Philippines!
We would like to congratulate TFY Skate for giving everyone the opportunity to experience Malaysia's first official downhill race!

Currently have 70 registration forms and only 48 have confirmed their spots. Because the rider limit for the race is 64 riders, there is only room for 16 more riders to confirm their spots.
It will be on a first come first serve basis so for those of you who are on this list but have yet to confirm their spots please do so by MAY 31 or your spot will be given away the others who are willing to confirm their registrations immediately.
Malaysians on the list, please make payment as per the instructions in the registration email you have received. Singaporeans on the list, please send in your registration forms/make payment at LBL if you have not already.
Other internationals, please send us your flight bookings.
Email tfyskate@gmail.com once you have done so.
Repeat, if the unconfirmed riders on the list do not CONFIRM their spots by MAY 31, you will be booted off to make room for the other riders.
They have no intention of increasing the number of riders. Why? Because they want to keep it within a number they can control. This is their first big event and they want to make everything run as smooth as possible for the enjoyment of all the riders. They hope you can understand this.
They deeply apologise in advance if you are unable to get into the race. They did not anticipate such a strong response from so many skaters around the region. Hope you guys can understand the current situation and bear with them.
If any of the confirmed riders are unable to attend, please inform us IMMEDIATELY so they can give your spot to someone else.
They are still accepting registrations for the SLIDEJAM category so if you have missed out on the race registration, don't worry you can still compete in the slidejam. So send in those SLIDEJAM registrations! There is no limit to the slidejam participants.
