All Hong Kong skatepark and other facilities had been closed down again since July 15 till today. If we dont want this to happen here. Hope everyone remain follow the mco s.o.p. Social Distancing, wear mask and hand sanitizer.

HONG KONG NEWEST SKATEPARK: FANLING SKATEPARK

Here's a couple of images of Fanling Skatepark in Hong Kong. The newest skatepark made by the guys from Convic. Yet the best so far we guess. We can't recall how many skatepark they have now in Hong Kong but most of them seems to be really good in construction and this was cost for HK$51Million. Damn, we wish we can go there someday.

Recently on 24th September; all Hong Kong's extreme athletes had the chances to test ride the park and they were happy with it. Skatepark will be fully open on November 2011. READ MORE HERE

HANG OUT X-VENTURE FESTIVAL

Date: 7 Aug 2011

Time: 15:00 - 20:00 (15:00 On-site registration start~~)

Venue: Mei Foo Skate park, Hong Kong

Contest & Prize:

Fun Box Manual Contest (Best Trick) : Winner-$1,000 + Skate products

-a number will be assigned to each participant, competitions will go on in proper order

- The competition will be divided up into 5 round , each round should be completed in less than 20 seconds

-Participant who perform the best trick wins the contest

Flat Bar Contest (Best Trick) : Winner-$1,000 + Skate products

-All the competitors will be divided up into groups of 8-10, competition duration twill be based on the number of participants in the group , each participant has 1 minute to perform tricks , if there are 8 people in the group , it takes 8 minutes for the competition

Skate Park Contest (Best Trick) : Winner-$1,000 + Skate products

-Each participant has 10 minute to perform trick freely , judges will decide who goes in to the final round (Availability of final round will base on the number of competitors in first round)

-Final round : Each participant has 1 minute to perform trick , Participant who perform the best trick wins the contest

Ollie Contest : Winner-$1,000 + Skate products

-The take-off mark in the first round is 60cm , participant who fail to make it over is out of the competition

-The take-off mark in the second round is 70cm , each participant has 2 opportunities , if fail to make it is out the competition

-The take-off mark in the third round is 72cm , each participant has 2 opportunities , if any one make it , the mark will be adjusted 2cm higher than the previous mark , until some one wins the game

Game of S.K.A.T.E (Professionals) : Winner-$1,000 + Skate products

-S.K.A.T.E competition is only for skaters who have sponsors

-Participants draws to divided up into groups , winners advance to next round , until some one wins the game

Fun Box Contest (Best Trick)(Professionals excepted) : Winner-Skate products

-All the competitors will be divided up into groups of 4-6 , competition duration will be based on the number of participants in the group , each participant has 1 minute to perform tricks , if there are 5 people in the group , it takes 5 minutes for the competition

-Winner of each group goes into the final round

-Final Round : There are 10 rounds in the final , each participant has to finish up the trick in the 20 seconds
