CAR-FREE SUNDAY MARCH 2014

Get everyone to gather at Dataran DBKL from after Subur prayers and wait for others till 8 am (latest). Then get someone older or experienced to guide the route. Skate safe people. Insya Allah

PUSH & ROLL CAR-FREE SUNDAY

Well, it was fun. We had about 8Km of pushing. We stop few spots and skated there and finished at where we started. Overall, the idea are good but not all roads were 100% closed. Only few roads like route 1 are the longer route and they only closed it till 8:30am. Route 2 which is about 1.5km will closed till 9:30am.We hope more to join in the coming month, be it your are longboarders, penny skateboards or what ever. We also noticed few mountain boarders on the road that day. Board power lets unite!!!

Anyway this is the only time we can skate at the DBKL Square. So do come ok?!!

LETS SKATEBOARDING ON CAR-FREE DAY

After Popper Mag & Siblings Skateboards did their pilot Car Crasher event in-conjunction of Carbon Free Sunday on February 2013. Jakarta city did their pilot Car Fee Days on 2007 and officially doing it every Sunday since May 2012. Finally The KL City Hall decided to have it every first week Sunday of every month. "This event will start at 7.30am and end about 9:30am, after which all the above roads,
except Jalan Raja Laut and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rah-man, will be open to the public.
The Car-Free Morning Criterium loop, which will be a full closure, will cover Jalan Raja Laut from the junction of Jalan Parlimen into Jalan Semarang followed by Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Tun Perak and back into Jalan Raja Laut. The start and finish line is opposite Menara DBKL 1.
These roads will be closed from 7.30am to 9.30am."
