QUIKSILVER TONY HAWK & FRIEND TOUR: INDIA
What?!!! Tony Hawk, the legendary skateboarding star is coming to India on 3rd December? When is Malaysia? Well do you know that Tony Hawk did make a private trip to Malaysia for a few days and visit one of the local skatepark many years back? Yes we are not sure how true was this but we will asked Tony directly. We only heard about it by few skaters who were at that time skating at the park during his visit.
Back to Mumbai story.... Accompanying Tony Hawk will be some of the best ramp riders such as Kevin Staab, Andy MacDonald, Sam Bosworth and young prodigy Mitchie Brusco. They will defy the laws of gravity on a monumental vert ramp (450mts. high, 19mts. wide and 18mts. deep) shaped by G Ramps. The massive half pipe will be settled by Quiksilver for one single show scheduled on December 3rd at the school grounds behind Dhirubhai Ambani International School at Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

Divisions : Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Master’s, Body-board Open

In collaboration with EC Xtreme, Tourism Terengganu, Quiksilver Malaysia & Asian Surfing Championship (ASC).
Everyone is invited to join, whether you are surfers or non-surfers. We will have a lot of games, prizes, free surf lessons and exciting surf contest with surfers from all over South East Asia.
"This is a great event and a wonderful opportunity for us to partner with State Government of Terengganu, Ministry of Tourism Terengganu Office, Tourism Malaysia, Quiksilver, ASC, Sumai Suite Hotel & Marang Village Resort & Spa to promote surfing, specifically in Terengganu during the monsoon season”, said Bryan Ng, Contest Director.
The Terengganu Quiksilver Best Event Surf Contest 2011 is sponsored and supported by State Government of Terengganu, EC Extreme, Quiksilver, Ministry of Tourism Terengganu Office, Tourism Malaysia, Asian Surfing Championship (ASC), Sumai Suite Hotel & Marang Village Resort & Spa.
