REVIEW + Interview : Translations DVD

*After a year of filming skateboarding in various countries such as in China, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Malaysia, France, Korea, Thailand, Sweden, Singapore, United States, Poland, Hong Kong, Morocco and even Vietnam, Translations is now complete. It was not an easy task to film skateboarding in unexplored environments and foreign cultures. Dealing with sketchy Police Officers in Morocco, food poisoning in Asia, searching for skateboarding spots on Mopeds in Vietnam, was part of our everyday challenges while shooting for Translations. This film features the skateboarding of Nolan Lee, Malcolm Tallgard, Max Beinhofer, Samuel Beyer, Patrick Boes, Daniel Hochman, Michael Mackrodt and various friends from around the world. This film is sponsored by Homegrown Skateshop, 8103 Clothing and Nike SB shoes.

KEIRON IN TRANSLATIONS DVD

Visual Travelling is proud to present you its first big project, TRANSLATIONS (check out the previous post). Patrick Wallner has gone to a couple of different places around the world with some (Pros & Ams) Americans, Germans, French, and Swedes featuring Daniel Hocman, Malcom Tallgard, Max Beinhofer, Samual Beyer, , Nolan Lee, Patrick Boes and many more. Check out the 2nd trailer here!!

Patrik has been on the road for this video for over a year and a half, non-stop from States, to Europe (Poland, Morocco, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany) to Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Korea and offcourse Malaysia). No big budget, no tour bus, only bowls of rice and mopeds.

I got this DVD more than a month ago and I was so impressed by it that I wrote a review. We never published it because Gary felt I wrote wayyy too much and gave away too many spoilers...I then lent the DVD to Gary and his reaction was, “OMG we need to sell this!” Anyway, we managed to secure some of last remaining prints for our online store, and I finally got around to shortening my review and have removed most of the spoilers so Gary won’t throw a hissy fit. > read more here...

Our first dvd and Malaysian first skateboarding DVD : "Panorama di mana kita berada" is officially sold out (1000 pieces)...We dont have any more stock..There will be no reprinting.The last 30 dvds were given free (product toss) during the end of the VKOG contest yesterday..Thanks for all the support and keep on skating..Now its KL Minute or PUSH skateshop turn for a new Malaysian skateboarding DVD...okgo!!
