Terbang Skateboarding akan mengadakan suatu screening berjudul "Deklarasi" pada hari Sabtu ini bersamaan 12 August. Lokasi screening akan berlangsung di Terbang Headquarters manakala skate comp akan berjalan di Taman Pasif (street style). Keseluruhan event ialah dari sekitar jam 4.30 petang sampai 9.30 malam.

Since the next Olympics (at Tokyo 2020), will feature skateboarding as a competitive medal sport - The 1st LAKSA JAM by Laksamana Skateboards is a local Malaysian tournament with one mission: To find Malaysia's potential Olympic skateboard medalist starting first with sending Laksa Jam's 'Gold' medalist to Grandprix Beroun, a World Cup Skateboarding sanctioned event in Czech Republic.

This event, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth & Sports and Laksamana Skateboards, will be held at Mont Kiara Skate Park on the 1st of April.

50 young Malaysians will be invited to compete. Top 5 will win cash prizes. However only one will walk away victorious with the inclusion of a flight ticket(return) and lodging expenses to Grand Prix Beroun.

PRIZE PURSE: 1st: RM1000.00 (Flight ticket to Beroun) 2nd: RM700.00 3rd: RM400.00 4th: RM150.00 5th: RM100.00

A jaw-dropping crowd-cheering demonstration from Street League's newest Pro Dave Bachinsky, 3 times X Games medalist and 2 times WCS overall rankings winner Tomas Vintr, plus one of the most iconic U.S Professional skateboarders out there, Sierra Fellers will showcase the best that skateboarding has to offer!

Also in the Pro mix are Japan's Daisuke Nakaura, Koya Miyasaka and Malaysia's own MOhd Fikri Bin Zulkifly.

If that isn't enough cause for excitement, double dare the person next to you to get a bird’s eye view from the zip-line across the roof of the skatepark to see which of you has the toughest nerves.

While most will be at Laksa Jam for the excitement of extreme sports, some may also enjoy a stroll through our 'local street wear bazaar’ or perhaps snacks and refreshment from the wide variety of food trucks made available only meters away!

Though we too are including the standard ambient music of every event, at Laksa Jam prepare yourself for performances from entertainment's rising stars in the local band and hip hop scene.

KIARA SKATEPARK RUBBISH!!!

Salam alaikum semua skateboarders dan juga pemain extreme sport yg bermain di Mont Kiara Skate Park.
Ini adalah gambar random. Bukan setiap hari or setiap minggu berlaku, tetapi kami mohon kerjasama semua yg bermain disini ambil berat dengan kebersihan skatepark. Sampah sarap serta sisa makan minum boleh menyebabkan bau busuk, tempat pembiakan nyamuk, bakteria, dll.

Dua bulan lepas terdapat 5 kes denggi di kawasan kompleks sukan ini. Berhati hati ye. Bawa ubat nyamuk or mosquito repellent kalau ada. Kalau ada nampak air bertakung, sila buang kan air tu. Sampah juga buang sekali, dah ada lebih 5 tong dlm kawasan skatepark tu. Sama sama lah kita jaga persekitaran skatepark untuk keselesaan orang ramai. Ia adalah tanggungjawab kita semua.
