SIBU: Sibu Xtreme Sports Association has a big enough planning in the future, recommend the construction of Skateboarding Park (skateboard) here.
Arrifin chairman Khairul Abdul Rahman said it was part of efforts to develop the sport here that is gaining popularity among the local youth.
Khairul said his proposal may be true estimate involved the construction of the park is also equipped with a variety of extreme sports facility, worth RM1.5 million.
"This is just a rough estimate and the actual cost is not known yet because the proposal has not been finalized," he said here yesterday.
