Remember the 1st Afghans skate school; SKATEISTAN? Here's an updated news from them. After two years of hard working looking for funds and sponsorship, the Skateistan team finally get their first indoor skatepark for the skateboarder & kids in Kabul, Afghanistan.
On the 29th october 2009, the opening was commenced with short greetings from international donors and Afghan dignitaries, followed by a skateboarding demonstration by Afghan girls and boys together with internationally renowned professional skateboarders (Kenny Reed and others) on the newly built ramps and obstacles.
