It was Ricky's (CE owner) first time to visit Putrajaya Skatepark this morning with A Thong. When i arrived the park this morning, a longboarder friend rushed to the nearest hospital with Ricky. No one really knew how he felt but there's many blood on the concrete flatground. Luckily there's people around like 6 of them and some construction workers. I do not know how many stiches he had on his head but it seems like 3 inches long when i meet him (around 2pm). Ricky were hold for observation for 6 hours. Luckily X-ray shows no sign of concussion or head trauma. Not sure bout Bloodclot but i think he's gonna be ok. He was release at 4pm. Thanks to all skateboarder who's been waiting for him (A Thong, Brenda, Brian & wife, Joel, Juno, Yeop, Leh). Advised to all skateboaders who wanted to skate in any skatepark. Don't go alone especially during morning, go when there's people around, wear a protective gear (ie: helmet, knee pads, etc), bring your friend's along, informed your parents and make sure somebody have a mobile phone (with credits). When we left the park, there's only 2 village boys skated there without any adults or their parents care (both got no mobile phone). Imagine if they get injured like Ricky and no one is around. Anyway, already spoke and advised them to get helmet, pads and don't attempt anything which is far beyond them skills. Don't bother about not being cool for wearing pads. I think it's not cool if you can't skate anymore. Helmet and pads cost is cheaper than medical bills. Think about it. Skate Smart!!!
