PEGC - FREE SHUTTLE BUS

YES!! Free shuttle bus service for those wanted to go to the event at Putrajaya. Putrajaya Tourism Action Council (PTAC) will provide 2 buses limited to 70 passenger only (1st come 1st serve basis). The buses will leaves at 7.30am in the morning from Bukit Kiara Skatepark and return back from Putrajaya to Kiara at 6.30 pm. The same goes on the day after (Sunday). Have a nice trip!!!

David G married to Teri recently.Meanwhile our old friend Ariffin aka Ipin (bungaraya) had a baby boy : Mohd Aufa Istiha (already 2 months i think). Congratulations ! LASER CUT SKATEBOARDS

Australian skateboard mag Refill has put together an interesting exhibition of laser engraved skateboards under the title Refill Seven. 80 artists; includes the famous Jim Phillips were asked to design each their deck, which were then produced in a limited edition of 50 copies each. Price? $500. Laser cutting is getting a lot of attention recently as one of the first digital fabrication technologies to become truly cheap and accessible. It can easily be used for “printing” images into unusual materials, or for constructing parts for complex forms. Usages include custom signage, jewelry design, models in paper or plastic etc. In terms of laser cutting used as an image medium, Refill Seven is one of the most interesting examples to date.

Above is the handrail dimension for Putrajaya Extreme Games Challenge (PEGC). There is 2 types of handrail for 3 categories where Inline is going to use the round handrail, while BMX and Skateboard will use the square one (3 inch width).

In other news, Bukit Kiara Skatepark is temporary closed for 2 days (today and tomorrow) due to "Sembelih Korban" next to the skatepark.
