The Wall Street Journal has set the record straight, incoming Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is NOT a skateboarder. Yesterday a Fed spokesman said that Mr. Geithner doesn’t actively participate in skateboarding. Still the article mentioned the active skaters in public office in park heavy Portland, Oregon namely Tom Miller and Mayor-elect Sam Adams.
Still, it’s amazing that so many blogs and news agencies were interested in just the RUMOR that Geithner might have skated.
