DEATH OF THE VERT!!!

On April 3, ESPN announced the biggest event shakeup since the inception of the X Games. As of this summer, vert, the oldest discipline in the Games, is out, and a new "SuperPark"-typ

Well that's what i've told some local skaters here why many pros never take part in the X Games. X Games is like a corporate mainstream sell out sports. Skaters don't really care of ESPN X-Games as they can make more money and popularity with other competition itself such as Tampa Pro, Vans Pro, etc. Anyway, vert skating is never dead. Maybe dead to ESPN but not to most skaters around the world. There's still lotsa vert competition and demos around the world. But does this means that there's no vert too in Asian X Games? I hope not.
