MORE LEFT OVER NEWS FROM GSD

The oldest Malaysian skateboard distribution CRAZEECAUSA didn't planned any "Go Skateboarding Day" rally this year due to clash of other events. They were planning to do one in KL City next year. Anyway, Crazee would also wishes a million thank you to those who joined the GSD event for the past 2 years.

MARTIN SIEGRIST IN MALAYSIA

3 times world champion Downhill Skateboarding; Martin Siegrist from Switzerland is now reside here in KL with Camp 5. Martin has been in Malaysia before for few times. If you recall Shah Alam park builder Tim Altic riding the big O retro skateboards, well that's was originally Martin's board.

Anyway, we have been communicating thru email for the past 5 -6 years. Never had the chances to meet him personally at that time when he was in Malaysia. Then recently got news from friends thru Longboarding Malaysia site where by Martin is now working here with Camp 5 which is a good news for all of us especially those into downhill skateboarding. Perhaps we can get more tips, lessons and experiences from him. Check out Martin's bomb Wang Kelian Hills @ Perlis footage below.

Michael Bucksmith; a skateboarder and a lecturer of Garden International School (GIS) Kuantan Campus, Pahang had successfully celebrate Go Skateboarding Day with his student! Way the go Michael! NYC XTREME CHALLENGE 2010

The Championship Cup 2010 will feature the preliminary competition and semi-finals at Somerset Skatepark on 10 July. Thereafter, the finals of the Championship Cup will be held at the East Coast Skatepark on 11 July. The top 10 winners of the Championship Cup (Professional Category) will be given the opportunity to participate in the Singapore Xtreme Championship 2010.
