May 25, 2007 - BUKIT KIARA GRAND OPENING

Yes boys & girls. The grand opening of Bukit Kiara skatepark contest will be held on the 29th May 2007 (Tuesday) during the mid year school holiday season next week. We heard that our Prime Minister "Pak Lah" will be attending to this event (that's why they closed the park for 3 weeks). Also launching the new logo of Rakan Muda.

Time : 9am - 7pm (Registration at 8am limited to 40 participants only)

Events : All 3X category (national team for AXG07 not allowed to participate)

May 04, 2007 - AXG - GOOD LUCK MALAYSIAN TEAM!!!

Pa'Din, Yeah, Fuad and Am Cheras will compete in the AXG skateboard prelims today at 10.00am till 12.00 noon. It's seems that it will not appear live on ESPN astro channel 82 since the air time were only at 1pm - 3pm only. Hope they will show the earlier event coverage during the live set or at least the results. Meantime, final for skateboard park will be set on tomorrow at 11.30am till 12.30pm (again will not show live on ESPN coz live will only show at 1pm - 3pm). Let us all pray and wish the best for our local team!!!

April 27, 2007 - CONTEST AT RAIN CITY!!!

Taiping town "Rain City" Rakan Muda Sports Complex will be officially open on 6-7th May (Sunday & Monday) 2007. We heard that Sultan of Perak will be there for the opening ceremony. In addition; the KBS Perak division had decided to have a skateboard contest (closed for Perak skaters only). Hosted by Taiping's own skateboard hero Narul; the voice of Gencos. April 24, 2007 - AXG 2007 HERE WE COME!

Some of you may have read it in the forum and once again we would like to inform that this year Asian X Games will be held from the 3rd - 5th May 2007 at KIC Jiangwan Sports Centre (outdoor), Shanghai China. Also heard that ESPN Asian X Games will go for 3 years in China. This means AXG will held in China untill 2009.

If you were wondering who is Budiman. Well, he is one of the early skaters back then in the late 80's. Technical pro skaters in the early 90's and won in few contest. Judging for various contest and also consulting and designing ramps. He has dedicated his whole life for skateboarding and still loving it today. Congrats Bro!!!

I've noticed that 3X mag were not in the market recently; so i've tried e-mail to Dean & Haizan and asked what's going on. They didn't reply and i guess they were busy. So again i did text to Din's mobile phone and he replied a bad news. Anyway, here's a statement in Bahasa taken from 3X myspace profile by Dean:
